Professor/ Associate/ Assistant Professor in Electrical Engineering

The School of Engineering and Applied Science at Ahmedabad University is inviting applications for faculty positions in all areas of Electrical Engineering. Recruitment is on an ongoing basis – both permanent and short-term faculty, post-doctoral research scholars with appropriate academic record. Ahmedabad University is a multi-disciplinary research university that lays emphasis on high quality and impactful research, and innovative hands-on teaching.

The University is expanding teaching and research in all areas of electrical engineering, including electronics and microelectronics, computer engineering, communication engineering, devices, electric machines, power systems, control engineering, robotics, and mechatronics, and embedded systems, amongst others. Focus research areas include electronics design and fabrication, renewable energies, electric transportation, and sustainability. The University will be offering a Bachelors programme in Electrical Engineering encompassing all domains and with focus on Electronics, and Energy.

Responsibilities: Faculty are expected to engage in high-quality research, establish new research areas in collaboration with professors of the University and outside, publish research work in international peer-reviewed journals of repute, teach courses within the School and across the University, supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students, develop external funding for research support, and participate in institution building. Required and preferred qualifications: Applicants should have a PhD and post-doctoral experience in a relevant discipline from a globally recognised University. Applicants should possess an excellent academic record and a commitment to academics and to contributing to interdisciplinary research that has a societal impact.
