Position Description
Duke University invites applications for a 2-year residential postdoctoral fellow for the 2024-25, and 2025-26 academic years. The fellow will serve as the Project Coordinator for the NEH Collaboration Grant supporting the Revaluing Care in the Global Economy (RCGE) project, will teach one course per year in the Program in Gender, Sexuality, and Feminist Studies, and will participate in the intellectual life of these two programs as well as the John Hope Franklin Humanities Institute. We seek candidates whose research explores how societies ascribe value to care, broadly speaking — including social, cultural, and ecological care. Degree requirement: To be conferred by August 1, 2024. In addition to your letter of application, please include a brief (max. 1000-word) description of how your research intersects with the RCGE project, a C.V., and names and contact information for references.
