Description
The research group of Avi Klein invites applications toPostdoctoral Fellowships in Theoretical Quantum Condensed Matter Physics
Funded by the US-Israel Binational Science Foundation
The program is intended for research in the field of quantum criticality, nonequilibrium dynamics in strongly correlated systems and superconductivity with an emphasis light-induced manipulation of quantum materials
The Fellowship duration is two years with an optional extension to three years. Successful candidates are expected to begin their fellowship in September 2024, although earlier starting dates may also be possible. The position is intended for excellent candidates, who have completed a PhD in condensed matter theory with flying colors. Fellows will receive a stipend of 300,000 ILS and an additional 25,000 ILS for travel and personal research expenses, over two years. The Fellows will enjoy full academic freedom, and are expected to perform independent research and foster collaborations both in the home institution and abroad.
