The Therien lab at Duke University has an opportunity for a qualified Associate in Research candidate interested in the design of de novo protein photosynthetic constructs and analogous molecular systems that facilitate light-triggered proton-coupled electron transfer reactions. Experience in synthesis, protein chemistry, spectroscopy, and excited-state dynamical studies is desirable. This is a three-month position available June 1, 2024. A bachelor’s degree is required.
