A postdoctoral position is currently available in the Condensed Matter Theory Group led by Prof. Jun-Won Rhim at the Department of Physics, Ajou University, South Korea.

We are interested in a wide range of subjects of quantum condensed matter theory, such as topological phases, flat band systems, strongly correlated electron systems, photonic crystals, and non-equilibrium phenomena. Recent research topics are focused on topological and geometric properties of flat band systems. Still, applications having other interests will also be considered. The position will initially be for two years, with the possibility of an extension. The salary would be 30000-40000(USD) per year, according to qualifications.

The starting date of the position is flexible. Candidates should have a Ph.D. degree in physics or closely related fields before the beginning of the position.
