Position Description
The Department of Government at Cornell University invites applications for up to two open-rank positions in the field of political methodology. We are interested in candidates whose research uses modern statistical methodology to answer substantive research questions in political science, or whose methodological research deepens our understanding of quantitative political methodology, broadly understood (e.g., statistics, computational methods, causal inference, etc.). The successful candidate will teach courses in statistical methods and research design at the graduate and undergraduate levels. Applicants should apply online at https://academicjobsonline.org. [Pay Range: $107,400 - $275,00] Actual salary offers in the College of Arts and Sciences will be based on education, experience, discipline, and relevant skills. Pay Ranges:
The hiring rate of pay for the successful candidate will be determined considering the following criteria:
- Prior relevant work or industry experience.
- Education level to the extent education is relevant to the position.
- Academic Discipline (faculty pay ranges reflects 9-month annual salary)
- Unique applicable skills.
