Assistant Professor in the Humanities/ Social Sciences
The College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences seeks to appoint a tenure-track Assistant Professor who demonstrates commitment to, and excellence in, teaching writing to undergraduate student across the humanities and social sciences. The ideal candidate should have a background in any field under the Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences umbrella, such as Philosophy, History, Literature, Linguistics, Economics, Psychology, Public Policy and Global Affairs, and Sociology. A track record in teaching writing-intensive and ethics courses would be welcome.
The appointed faculty member will primarily contribute to the NTU-University Scholars Programme (NTU-USP), which attracts high-achieving students. The Programme is an interdisciplinary initiative designed to complement and connect with NTU's core disciplines. It aims to cultivate a cadre of creative and reflective global citizens who embody a passion for continuous learning.
