About the School of Interactive Computing at Georgia Institute of Technology

The School of Interactive Computing (https://ic.gatech.edu/) at the Georgia Institute of Technology invites applications for a tenure-track faculty (https://ic.gatech.edu/faculty-hiring) position. Applicants will be considered at all ranks. We seek applications in the following, broader areas:

          o Computer Vision

          o Human-centered AI

          o Machine Learning 

          o Natural Language Processing

           o Human-Robot Interaction 

           o Mobile Manipulation 

           o Multi-/Human-Robot Teams 

           o Robot Learning 

While these areas are of strategic importance to the School and the Institute, we will consider truly outstanding candidates in all areas that support the school's interdisciplinary mission and expand it in strategic directions.

Responsibilities

Tenure-track professors are expected to teach one course per semester, provide service to the School and the Institute, and engage in substantive research with collaborators in other disciplines.

Required Qualifications

Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Computer Science, or related field, prior to the start (hire) date. 

Preferred Qualifications

Suitable candidates must have an established international reputation and have demonstrated exceptional impact, productivity, and leadership. 

Candidates are also expected to demonstrate an exceptional commitment to the teaching and mentoring of undergraduate and graduate students through their research, teaching, or service activities.
