Position Description
The Pratt School of Engineering is seeking an Assistant, Associate or Full Adjunct Professor(s) to co-teach Technology Product Management. Successful candidates will be expected to: • Teach courses in technology product management • Collaborate across department and school boundaries • Develop and deliver course material that broadly addresses technology product development and the impact of technology on society • Mentor students participating in the co-curricular program in technology product management • Engage with industry and community partners to source projects for the course and program The adjunct position is to teach a class in Product Development and operate co-curricular student teams building technology products. The successful candidate(s) will provide students with detailed instruction into methods for discovery and delivery of technology solutions; the role of the Product Manager in small, mid-size and large enterprise companies for problem identification, development of innovative solutions, product testing and evolution, market analysis and idea pitching. The ideal candidate will have industry experience in product management in startup ventures, mid- or large companies. This person will have extensive knowledge of human-centered product design and testing, and experience in industry developing and delivering technology solutions.
