Position Description
The University of Melbourne invites applications for a postdoctoral position in dark matter phenomenology. This position is supported by the ARC Centre of Excellence for Dark Matter Particle Physics. The position will be based at the University of Melbourne Parkville campus, working under the supervision of Prof Nicole Bell, Dr Peter Cox, A/Prof Matthew Dolan and Prof Raymond Volkas. The successful candidates will lead work on theoretical particle and astroparticle physics, with a particular focus on dark matter phenomenology. Collaboration with theorists and experimentalists across the ARC Centre of Excellence for Dark Matter Particle Physics will be encouraged. The anticipated starting date is September 2025, or another date by negotiation. The salary will be at University of Melbourne salary level A6 (which is currently $105,518 Australian dollars).
