Position Description:
Position Description
We are seeking to fill four postdoctoral positions, which are part of the German Research Foundation (DFG) funded Research Unit 5582 "Modern foundations of Scattering Amplitudes". The Research Unit is a consortium consisting of the University of Bonn, the Humboldt-University Berlin, the University of Hertfordshire, the University of Mainz, the Technical University of Munich and the Max Planck Institute for Physics in Munich. We are looking to fill postdoctoral positions for the nodes in Berlin, Hertfordshire and Munich.Applicants are asked to send their CV, a brief cover letter, a research statement and three reference letters until 30.11.2024 via this platform. Importantly, the cover letter should also state the node(s) of the positions applied for (see the specific project titles below).
We aim to increase the proportion of women in areas where women are under-represented and to particularly promote their careers. We therefore urge women with relevant qualifications to apply. Applications from suitable individuals with a certified serious disability and those of equal status are particularly welcome.
For further information about the specific nodes and projects, please contact one of the following:

- Valentina Forini, valentina.forini@physik.hu-berlin.de. "Amplitudes and AdS" project.
- Jan Plefka, jan.plefka@hu-berlin.de. "Worldline quantum field theories" project.
- Stephan Stieberger, stephan.stieberger@mpp.mpg.de. "Amplitudes from Riemann surfaces with marked points" project.
Each node is seeking to fill one postdoc position.
