Position Description:
   

Carleton University is inviting applications for McDonald Institute Theory Fellowships in the field of theoretical astroparticle physics (broadly defined), to work with the theory group. Top-ranked applications will be sent to the Canadian MI Theory Evaluation committee, who will allocate fellowships. First round offers will be made in mid-to-late January.

The Theoretical Particle Physics group consists of six faculty members: Stephen Godfrey, Thomas Gregoire, Seyda Ipek, Heather Logan, Daniel Stolarski, and Yue Zhang. The theory group works on all aspects of beyond-the-Standard Model physics. The physics department of Carleton University also has a strong experimental particle physics group whose members are involved in the ATLAS collaboration at the LHC, and dark matter and neutrino experiments including DEAP, DarkSide-20k, ARGO, Hyper-K, nEXO.
