Position Description:

The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign string theory group is looking to fill a postdoctoral researcher position. Postdoc appointments are for two-year terms with possible extension to a third year. We are seeking candidates with research interests in any of the following: quantum gravity, AdS/CFT and QFT and in particular connections between these subjects and quantum information theory. The positions will commence in the Fall of 2025. The faculty working in the areas of interest are Patrick Draper, Tom Faulkner and Robert Leigh. The faculty are members of IQUIST (Illinois Quantum Information Science and Technology), ICASU (Illinois Center for Advanced Study of the Universe) and the ICMT (Institute for Condensed Matter Theory).
