Fellow Position at Korea Institute for Advanced Study

The School of Computational Sciences at Korea Institute for Advanced Study is seeking outstanding KIAS Fellow candidates in one of the areas of Computational Sciences.
The
candidates are required to have doctoral degrees in the relevant research
fields:
□ Computational
Sciences
o
Cryptography
o
Data Sciences, Complex Networks, Mathematical Biology
o
Quantum Computation & Information Science
o
Post-Quantum Cryptography, Homomorphic Encryption and Computing
o
Theoretical and Computational Condensed Matter Physics and Materials Sciences
o
Theoretical and Computational Biophysics
o
Soft Matter Physics
o
Physical Chemistry and Theoretical Chemistry
o
Combinatorics, Algorithm, Extremal Graph Theory, Computing Theory
o
Programming Language, AI Theory or Machine Learning
o
Classical and Quantum Algorithm for Computational Quantum Many-body Theory
o Theory and Computation of Correlated Quantum Materials
Applicants are expected to have contributed to their research field through remarkable research and to have the potential to bring the research area to world-leading level. Also, applicants are strongly committed to and capable of successfully conducting innovative research and have the communication skills required for successful international coworking.
KIAS Fellows are provided with annual salary in accordance with KIAS regulations and covered by Korean national health insurance. Additional benefits include individual research grants and benefit cards. The initial appointment for the KIAS Fellow position is for five years, with the possibility of a one time renewal of up to two additional years.
