Position Description

The Institute of Theoretical Physics at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, Poland, invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the assistant professor level.

The successful candidate will be expected to conduct an excellent research program in theoretical physics and contribute to teaching at all levels. We offer stable employment based on an employment contract at a renowned university, as well as the opportunity to collaborate with an interdisciplinary academic community that includes well-known scientists.

Candidates must hold a PhD in physics or a related field.

Duration of employment: 33 months, starting from October 1, 2025.
