Lecturer Position in the Department of Biology Stanford University The Department of Biology at Stanford University invites applications for a Lecturer position for the 2025-26 academic year, with the possibility of renewal. This is a full-time, one-year appointment, with the potential for renewal based on performance and departmental needs. The position will begin in September 2025. A key task for the Lecturer is to help teach BIO 43: Introduction to Laboratory Research in Neuronal Cell Biology in the Fall and Winter Quarters and assist with developing the course for future expansion. These courses provide hands-on research experiences for undergraduates, and the Lecturer will play a crucial role in designing and delivering laboratory instruction, mentoring students, and ensuring a high-quality learning experience. Qualifications Candidates must have a PhD in Biology (or related field) in hand. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated excellence in teaching and a strong background in Biology.
