MOUNT ALLISON UNIVERSITY DEPARTMENT OF CHEMISTRY AND BIOCHEMISTRY The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Mount Allison University invites applications for a one-year term appointment in Organic Chemistry. The appointment will be made at the rank of Assistant Professor and will commence on July 1, 2025, subject to budgetary approval. Applicants must possess a Ph.D. and have a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching. The successful candidate will be required to teach four in-person undergraduate courses in Chemistry, CHEM 2111 Organic Chemistry 1, CHEM 3111 Organic Chemistry 2, CHEM/BIOC 3131 Bio-Organic Chemistry, and CHEM/BIOC 4903: Honours Seminar. Contributions to research and service are welcome during the appointment. Candidates must provide evidence of an ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary and student-centered environment.
