Position Description

The Department of Theater Studies at Duke University in Durham, NC invites applications for an Instructor to begin January 2026. This two-course, spring semester appointment will involve teaching a section of introductory Acting and directing our Mainstage production of Luigi Pirandello's Six Characters in Search of an Author in a new adaptation by Neal Bell. Submit a letter of interest and directing resume to Chair Darren Gobert. Applications received by May 22, 2025 will be guaranteed consideration.
