Position Description

The Institute of Atomic and Molecular Sciences at Academia Sinica invites applications for the positions of tenure-track or tenured Assistant/Associate/Full Research Fellow with expertise in studying chemical reactions in gas, in condensed phases, or at interfaces utilizing experimental as well as computational techniques. Applicants who are interested in atmospheric chemistry or the chemistry of unstable species are especially welcome. We are also open-minded to candidates from interdisciplinary fields. This group has its roots in gas-phase reaction dynamics and spectroscopy. Meanwhile, its research has been extended to other applications, e.g. the structure determination of carbohydrates.

Applicants should hold a PhD or equivalent degree with postdoctoral experience. The successful candidates are expected to conduct independent research, demonstrate strong communication skills, and exhibit leadership potential within their respective fields.

Academia Sinica, located in Taipei, Taiwan, is a renowned research institution dedicated to advancing fundamental research.
