Postdoctoral Research Associate – Quantum Transport and Optics in 2D Materials Department of Physics and Astronomy, Purdue University Principal Investigator: Dr. Yihang Zeng

Position Summary: The 2D Quantum Materials and Devices Lab, led by Dr. Yihang Zeng at Purdue University, is seeking a highly motivated and capable Postdoctoral Research Associate to work at the forefront of two-dimensional (2D) materials research. The successful candidate will play a key role in exploring novel quantum phenomena through device fabrication, low-temperature transport measurements, and state-of-the-art optical sensing techniques.

Minimum Qualifications: • Ph.D. in Physics, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field by the start date.

Preferred Qualifications: • Hands-on experience in nanofabrication techniques (e.g., electron-beam lithography, dry/wet etching, metal deposition). • Background in low-temperature transport measurements or optical characterization of materials and devices.

Appointment Details: • Start Date: Flexible. • Initial appointment: One year, with potential annual. • Annual Salary: $47,500 plus full Purdue University employee benefits.
