Position Description
1. Equipment Management and Maintenance: Responsible for the daily maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of electrophysiological equipment to ensure that the equipment is in good condition and can operate normally. Responsible for the establishment and improvement of equipment management system, including the use of norms, safety operating procedures. 2. Experiment Design and Execution: Design and execute in vivo or cellular electrophysiology experiments according to the research needs, including the preparation of electrodes, signal acquisition and processing. Responsible for analyzing and interpreting the experimental data, and writing the experimental report. 3. Technical Training and Guidance: Responsible for training other technicians in electrophysiology techniques, including experimental operation and data analysis. Provide experimental guidance and help other personnel to solve problems encountered in the process of experiments. 4. Research Project Participation: Participate in the execution of research projects, complete experimental tasks, and write research papers. Responsible for writing and participating in subject experiments. Qualifications 1. PhD in relevant biomedical or biochemical studies. 2. Candidate will have at least one year full time experience with whole cell or patch clamp electrophysiology. 3. Experience with ligand gated channels, voltage gated calcium channel, potassium channels are preferred.
