Position Description

Professor Taylor and the Chair of Mathematical Physics invite applications for a postdoctoral position in the Department of Physics at the University of Warsaw in Warsaw, Poland. The position will start in Fall 2026 and will be for two years.

The candidate is expected to have a solid background in quantum field theory, general relativity and mathematical physics, with the research interest including quantum field theory in curved spacetime and related topics.

This position is funded by the National Science Centre of Poland, under the MAESTRO grant "Elementary Particles in Curved Spacetime". The post carries with it the benefit of substantial opportunities for travel and scientific interaction with Warsaw's Chair of Quantum Mathematical Physics, Chair of General Relativity, and with the international Simons Collaboration on Celestial Holography.
