Temple University Physics Department Position Title: Assistant Professor of Instruction Location: Philadelphia, PA Application Deadline: Open until filled Anticipated Start Date: January 2026 Position Summary The Physics Department invites applications for a non-tenure track Assistant Professor position in Physics within the College of Science and Technology beginning in January 2026. We seek an outstanding scholar and teacher who will contribute to our mission of academic excellence, innovative research, and inclusive education. Responsibilities • Teach undergraduate courses in Physics. • Contribute to departmental, college, and university service. Qualifications Required: • PhD in Physics. • Demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching and scholarship. • Commitment to creating inclusive, accessible spaces for all students Preferred: • Experience teaching and mentoring students from different backgrounds in an inclusive setting. • Evidence of collaborative and interdisciplinary work.
