Position Description:
Position Description
The Leinweber Institute for Theoretical Physics at UC Berkeley and the Theoretical Physics Group at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory invite applications for several Postdoctoral Fellows to begin in the Fall of 2026. We encourage applications in all areas of theoretical physics, including Cosmology, Quantum Field Theory, Quantum Gravity, Quantum Information Theory, Quantum Matter and Information, Particle physics, and String Theory. The fellowship will be awarded initially for 2-3 years, and may in exceptional circumstances be extended up to 5 years. In addition to a competitive salary, the position includes benefits and funds for travel. Candidates must have a PhD by the fellowship start date in an area related to particle theory.
