Position Description
The Department of Atmospheric Sciences at National Central University invites applications for one to two full-time faculty positions (or project-based appointment) at the assistant, associate, or full professor levels, with an expected start date in August 2026. We seek candidates with expertise in the following areas: (1)Atmospheric Environment. (2)Typhoon dynamics and numerical modeling (3)Remote sensing (including GNSS applications) (4)Experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications within atmospheric sciences is highly advantageous. Applicants must possess a Ph.D. degree. Postdoctoral experience, a proven ability for cross-discipline research and significant research achievements with clear potential for continued growth in atmospheric sciences are highly preferred. A commitment to excellence in teaching is essential. Additional valuable experiences include international collaboration, undergraduate teaching, and research project management.
