Koç University, a foundation-supported, non-profit institution of higher education in Istanbul, Türkiye, invites applications for a tenure-track full-time faculty position in Experimental or Theoretical Physics that will complement and/or expand the current research activities of the Physics Department. Current research areas include mathematical physics, biological physics, cold atoms, condensed and soft matter physics, gravitation, spectroscopy, micro/nano photonic materials and devices, quantum technologies, quantum optics, solid-state lasers, ultrafast optics, and biomedical optics. Post-doctoral experience is required. Priority will be given to applicants at the assistant professor level. Candidates are expected to develop a competitive research program and teach undergraduate and graduate-level courses. The medium of instruction is English. Salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience. Side benefits include housing aid, health insurance, and financial support for K12 education of candidates’ children.
