Koç University, a foundation-supported, non-profit institution of higher education in Istanbul, Türkiye, invites applications for tenure-track junior faculty positions in all areas of chemistry. Priority will be given to candidates specializing in polymer and/or organic chemistry whose research will enhance and broaden the Department’s existing strengths. Applicants should have an outstanding publication record, a compelling vision for future research, and postdoctoral or industrial R&D experience. Appointments are expected to begin in October 2026. The Department of Chemistry at Koç University is a dynamic and internationally recognized community, with faculty members recruited from leading institutions worldwide and top-tier, highly motivated undergraduate and graduate students. Upcoming faculty members are eligible to apply for European Union Marie-Curie Actions and Turkish Science Foundation TUBITAK 2232 International Fellowship for Outstanding Researchers Program. Successful candidates will be expected to build and sustain a globally competitive, externally funded research program, teach undergraduate and graduate-level courses, supervise graduate and undergraduate student research and contribute to departmental and university service. The medium of instruction is English. Salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
