Description

The INSAIT-MIT CSAIL Joint Research Program offers newly recruited INSAIT tenure-track faculty the unique opportunity to spend one year at MIT CSAIL, before continuing their position at INSAIT.

Selected faculty will collaborate closely with MIT professors, researchers, and doctoral students on advanced projects. The program is designed to foster long-term research partnership between INSAIT and MIT CSAIL.

Program Highlights

2026 Program Timeline 

• 30 January 2026 - Application deadline for INSAIT faculty positions

• 10 April 2026 - Notification sent to accepted INSAIT faculty candidates

• 30 April 2026 - Application deadline to INSAIT-MIT program

• 31 May 2026 - MIT faculty submit collaboration proposals

• 31 July 2026 - Joint INSAIT-MIT steering committee selects participants 

• 20 August 2026 - Applicants are notified of the result
