The faculty members and research
information can also be found on http://itp.phy.pku.edu.cn/. Candidates are expected
to have a Ph.D. in theoretical physics or related areas prior to the time of
employment. They should also have an established academic background and
provide evidence of future research potential.
The positions are generally made for a term of two years and can be extended
for an additional year subject to performance review and funding situation. The
starting date of the positions is flexible. The positions offer competitive
salary and benefits, including research fundings, housing subsidies and travel
expenses. The applicants may also apply for “Boya postdoctoral fellow” in March
2026, which provides even more benefits (for reference see Peking University Boya
Postdoctoral Fellowship Call for Applications 2025).
Interested applicants should provide a cover letter, a Curriculum Vitae, a
publication list, a statement of research interests, and arrange at least three
reference letters. In the cover letter, please indicate the research area (1-8)
and the hosting faculty member. The applicants are encouraged to contact with
the faculty members. If there are any questions, please contact Ms. Lv Lv (lvlv@pku.edu.cn) or Prof.
Yinan Wang (ynwang@pku.edu.cn ).
The materials and reference letters should be submitted on this page before the deadline (December 15, 2025).
