The high energy theory group in the Leinweber Institute for Theoretical Physics (LITP) at the University of Michigan Department of Physics welcomes applications for a postdoctoral position to begin in the Fall of 2026 in one or more of the following areas: standard model physics, beyond the standard model physics, astro-particle physics (including dark matter and neutrino physics), string theory, quantum field theory, scattering amplitudes, and gravity. Applicants for this position are automatically considered for prize fellowships as Leinweber Postdoctoral Fellows at the Leinweber Institute For Theoretical Physics. The LITP hosts workshops every year in areas of interest, and LITP Fellows will be able to benefit from and shape the scientific program of the Center. These positions will include a budget for research and travel expenses.Background Screening
