University of Arizona, Theoretical High Energy Physics
Position Description
The theoretical high-energy physics group at the University of Arizona expects to hire two postdoctoral researchers to begin in Fall 2026 (UA Talent).
Candidates working in all branches of theoretical high-energy physics are encouraged to apply. We are hiring for two positions: one with focus on Scattering Amplitudes and related topics to join the group of Callum Jones, and one with focus on particle phenomenology Beyond the Standard Model to join the group of Shufang Su. The UA high-energy theory group also includes: Keith Dienes, Stefan Meinel and Ina Sarcevic. Candidates should have a PhD or equivalent degree and a strong research record in theoretical high-energy physics.
The appointment is initially for two years. Extension to a third year is possible depending on funding and satisfactory performance.
