Position Description
Postdoctoral Positions in Theoretical Physics at IFIC (CSIC-UV) The Institut de Física Corpuscular, IFIC, a joint research institute of the Spanish Research Council (CSIC) and the University of Valencia, invites applications for several POSTDOCTORAL POSITIONS IN THEORETICAL PARTICLE PHYSICS with a starting date in the fall of 2026. Earlier appointments may also be considered. The research interests of the theory groups at IFIC cover a wide variety of topics in theoretical particle physics such as particle physics phenomenology in the Standard Model and beyond (including collider, flavour, Higgs and neutrino physics), QCD and strong interactions, lattice QCD, effective field theories in hadron and nuclear physics, astroparticle physics, cosmology, dark matter, gravitation and black holes, gravitational waves, and quantum information. IFIC also hosts very strong experimental groups which participate in several international experiments in particle, astroparticle and nuclear physics as well as in the applications of these disciplines to other fields of science and technology. Applicants should provide a curriculum vitae, list of publications and a brief statement of research interests, and arrange to have two letters of recommendation.
