Position Description
Koç University's Department of Media and Visual Arts (MAVA) invites applications for a full-time instructor position to start in September 2026. Applications submitted by January 19, 2026 will receive full consideration, with later applications reviewed as needed until the position is filled.

Qualifications and Position Responsibilities
At the time of employment, candidates should have at least an MA degree, and preferably a PhD degree, in media studies or related fields. Areas of specialization are open, but candidates specializing in emerging media, media and culture industries, media and politics, platform studies, television and film studies, sound studies, and strategic communication are particularly encouraged to apply.
Successful candidates are asked to teach in accordance with the department's needs, including media research methods, introduction to media and communication, and media and culture industries.
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
