Position Description:
Position Description
The Theoretical Particle Physics and Cosmology Group in the Physics department of King’s College London expects to support postdoctoral positions starting in October 2026 funded by the UK STFC research council.The areas we will be recruiting in are:
-Field theory and beyond the standard model particle physics, collider phenomenology and LHC physics.
-The intersection of particle physics, astrophysics and cosmology, including but not limited to dark matter.
-Gravitational waves as probes of cosmology, physics beyond the standard model and tests of modified gravity.
The members of the Theoretical Particle Physics and Cosmology Group relevant to this call include Jean Alexandre, Chris McCabe, Sebastian Ellis, Ruth Gregory, Malcolm Fairbairn, Eugene Lim, Lionel London, David (Doddy) Marsh, Nick Mavromatos, Keir Rogers, Mairi Sakellariadou, Sarben Sarkar and Tevong You, as well as postdocs and PhD students.
Although STFC funding decisions are still not finalised, we hope to have funding confirmation in time to make offers well before the January 30th agreed deadline for HEP postdocs.

Salaries (including London weighting) will lie in the range £45,031.00 to £52,514.00 depending upon years since PhD.
