The Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Pittsburgh invites applications for a postdoctoral research position in nanophotonics in the research group of Dr. Zhujun Shi. Candidates should have experience with the design and fabrication of nanophotonic devices. The successful candidate will contribute to research on advanced photonic system integration, with applications in both classical and quantum computing. Applicants should have a strong background in the design and fabrication of nanophotonic devices. Prior experience in integrated photonics and/or MEMS technologies is highly desirable. Position Details: The position is funded for two years and potentially one more year with mutual agreement. Start date is negotiable but preferably by June 2026. Applications will be considered on a rolling basis until the position is filled. Submission deadline may be extended if the position is not filled. Required: .
