Position Description
The Mathematical Physics, String Theory, and Gravity group at the Institut de Physique Théorique (IPhT) of CEA Saclay invites applications for a postdoctoral position in quantum field theory. Candidates with research interests in the conformal bootstrap, AdS/CFT, and their mathematical aspects are particularly encouraged to apply.The position will be funded by the ERC Consolidator Grant “HARMONICON: Connecting Harmonic Analysis and Conformal Field Theory". The appointment will be for 2+1 years, starting in Fall 2026.
The IPhT has an active research environment spanning all areas of theoretical physics, a vibrant visitor and lecture program, and strongly-coupled interactions with other institutes in the Paris area.
