Description
The particle theory group at The Institute of Theoretical Physics at the Chinese Academy of Sciences (ITP-CAS)(http://english.itp.cas.cn) invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in 2026. Current research areas in the group include physics beyond the Standard Model, dark matter, neutrino, gravitational waves and field theory. Applications with experiences or expertise in dark matter theory and experimental detection, space-base gravitational-wave detection, neutrino physics effective field theory, and scattering amplitudes are especially encouraged to apply. The group members include Profs. Yue-liang Wu, Yu-Feng Zhou, Chun Liu, Jiang-Hao Yu and Ningqiang Song; and roughly 20 postdocs and graduate students. The initial appointment is for 2 years, starting from 2026, and a further promotion to 3-5 year non-tenure track research assistant appointment is also possible depending on performance and mutual agreement. The group offers an internationally competitive salary, and will have the opportunity to be supported to apply for external research funding.
