PLEASE NOTE- Applications MUST be submitted to the Harvard Academic Positions website in order to be considered. https://academicpositions.harvard.edu/postings/15491 The Gravity, Spacetime, and Particle Physics (GRASP) Initiative -https://grasp.physics.harvard.edu, is now accepting applications for a postdoctoral fellowship in high energy theory. We anticipate a dynamic environment with interactions with many interesting visitors as well as the members of the Harvard theory group. Positions begin in the academic year 2026-2027 and can begin as early as September 2026. The appointment would be at the rank of Postdoctoral Fellow. The initial appointment is for two years, with a third year contingent upon continued funding and research collaboration. Applications should consist of a letter of application, CV, and research statement. Please also provide three letters of recommendation from senior scientists who know your work. Applications and supporting materials should arrive by December 28, 2025 for full consideration. Candidates for this position must have completed their Ph.D. degree by the appointment start date; demonstrate outstanding research in high energy theory appropriate to the level of the position; and have the ability to identify and pursue research problems independently while working well in an interactive and dynamic setting. Pay offered to the selected candidate is dependent on factors such as years of experience, training or qualification, field of scholarship, and accomplishments in the field.
