Recruiting Unit: National Taiwan University AI Center of Research Excellence (NTU AI-CoRE) Position Titles and Number of Openings: Up to five tenure-track faculty positions that are equivalent to the ranks of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor, expected to start on August 1st, 2026 Openings and Qualifications: Applicants must hold a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in an artificial intelligence-related field and show a strong commitment to research, teaching, and service. Early-career scholars are particularly encouraged to apply. Application Materials * Required Documents: ** Cover letter ** Curriculum Vitae ** Research statement ** Teaching statement (to be used, at the applicant's discretion, for a concurrent joint appointment process with a teaching department) ** Publication list ** At least three reference letters (up to five, to be uploaded directly to the system by the referees) * Optional Documents: ** Representative papers (up to three, strongly encouraged) ** Any other PDF-formatted supporting materials Selection Process * A faculty search committee formed by the Center will conduct an initial review of application materials. Qualified candidates will be invited for interviews and external review of publications, followed by evaluation through three levels of faculty review committees. Formal offers will be extended upon approval. * At the applicant's request, the Center may coordinate a joint appointment review process with the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering or the Department of Electrical Engineering at National Taiwan University. Upon approval by the relevant departmental review committees, the Center will coordinate with the department to arrange rights and responsibilities in accordance with departmental faculty policies. * Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
