Demonstrated team spirit, strong communication and organizational skills, a solid commitment to scientific exploration, and the ability to conduct independent research.

Priority Consideration

Candidates meeting any one of the following criteria will be given priority: 1. A strong background in theoretical and/or computational plasma physics, including expertise in radiation transport theory in nuclear fusion processes, plasma magnetohydrodynamics (MHD), gyrokinetic or fully kinetic simulations, and/or particle-in-cell (PIC) simulations; 2. A research background in light-nucleus fusion in nuclear physics, such as studies related to deuterium–tritium fusion reactions; 3. Experience in, or a strong interest in pursuing, cross-disciplinary physics problems associated with tokamak fusion devices or other major fusion facilities.

Application Review

Review of applications will begin on February 1, 2026, and will continue until the positions are filled.
