Postdoctoral fellow position in Quantum Condensed Matter Theory is available at the Quantum Matter Institute at The University of British Columbia. The position is for two years and there is a possibility of extension to the third year, subject to the availability of funding. The nominal starting date is September 1, 2026, but an earlier date can be arranged if desired. The postdoctoral fellow will work in the research group of Prof. Marcel Franz and will also have opportunities to collaborate widely with the members of the Institute. Candidates with strong background in superconductivity, topological states of matter and unconventional magnetism are especially encouraged to apply. Interested candidates are invited to submit their CV with the list of publications, a brief statement of research interests and arrange for 3 or more letters of reference to be uploaded.
