Position Description
The Theoretical Physics group led by Prof. Po-Yao Chang at the Physics Department, National Tsing Hua University, invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher position. The successful candidate will conduct research in the interdisciplinary fields of many-body quantum matter, quantum field theories, and quantum information. We are looking for highly motivated individuals who can contribute to our group's focus on these cutting-edge topics. Collaboration & Environment: In addition to working within Prof. Chang’s group, the appointee is encouraged to collaborate with other faculty members in the department, fostering a vibrant and interactive research environment. Appointment Term: The appointment is initially for two years, with the possibility of a one-year extension contingent upon performance and funding availability. Start Date: The expected starting date is August 2026. Qualifications: 1. A Ph.D. in Physics or a closely related field by the start date. 2. A strong background in condensed matter theory, high-energy physics, or quantum information theory. 3. Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research.
