We are pleased to announce a two-year postdoctoral position in theoretical particle physics at the Laboratoire d’Annecy de Physique Théorique (LAPTh), starting in fall 2026. This position is funded by the ENIGMASS+ federation and is primarily intended for early-stage postdocs with up to two years of experience since obtaining their PhD.
We are seeking highly motivated candidates with expertise in physics beyond the Standard Model, particularly in dark matter phenomenology. Experience with low-energy probes of new physics and light dark matter candidates is highly valued. Applicants from all areas of high-energy phenomenology are also encouraged to apply.
The successful candidate will join the LAPTh Particle Physics Group which includes Cédric Delaunay, Diego Guadagnoli, Björn Herrmann, and Jérémie Quevillon as permanent staff. LAPTh also maintains strong ties with the CERN Theory Department, offering a stimulating collaborative research environment.
