Seeking applications for non-tenure track, part-time lecturers for the Fall 2026 semester for two communications courses at Boston University, Questrom School of Business: 1. The undergraduate Critical and Analytical Thinking communications course
2. The graduate Master’s in Finance communications class
In these courses, students learn to express critical and analytical thought clearly, concisely, and persuasively, both in writing and verbally. Specifically, students learn to: craft and deliver well-structured arguments on business and financial topics; write simply and clearly in a professional tone; understand and apply principles of visual communication; master presentation delivery; and respond thoughtfully and comfortably to others in the moment.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
The instructor must have strong critical thinking, analytical and/or financial skills and must be able to convey the importance of communication skills to professional success. Clear, logical thinkers are valued along with the ability to grade papers and presentations fairly and consistently. Facility with generative AI is a plus. Business experience and/or teaching experience are valued. Business executives with strong backgrounds in Finance are especially encouraged to apply. A master’s degree or higher is required.
