Postdoctoral Research Position in Experimental Quantum Physics Department of Physics and Astronomy, University of Pittsburgh Group of Prof. Yue (Joyce) Jiang The University of Pittsburgh invites applications for a postdoctoral research associate to join Prof. Yue (Joyce) Jiang’s research group. Our lab focuses on experimental quantum physics research with superconducting circuits and cold atoms. We are seeking motivated researchers with expertise in either of these two fields to help build this next-generation quantum interface. Position Details: Experimental quantum physics in superconducting circuits and/or cold atom. Salary: Starting at $62,232/year with scheduled annual raises. Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in Physics with a specialization in superconducting circuits OR laser-cooled Rydberg atoms. Preferred Expertise (One or more of the following): 1. Experience with laser-cooled Rydberg atom systems. 2. Experience in superconducting circuit fabrication. 3. Experience in integrating cryogenics with ultra-high vacuum (UHV) systems.
