Position Description

The Institute of Physics, Academia Sinica (IoP, AS) in Taiwan invites applications for a postdoctoral researcher position in quantum matter theory. The research topics cover quantum phenomena and quantum matter in various nanoscale systems, including quantum wires, nanotubes, two-dimensional van der Waals structures, topological insulators and superconductors, strongly correlated systems, non-Hermitian systems, quasicrystals, as well as disordered systems and mesoscopic physics. Any candidates interested in these topics are welcome to apply.

Candidates must hold Ph.D. degree in Physics or related fields by the starting date. In addition, the successful candidate should demonstrate solid scientific background in the area of study and ability to effectively conduct independent research under the mentorship of IoP faculty. The starting date is flexible, but an earlier start is preferred.

To apply, candidates should follow the instructions on the following webpage: https://sites.google.com/view/qmtheory/job-openings/postdoctoral-researchers

For any inquiries regarding the application, interested candidates may contact Dr. Hsu by email: chenhsuan_[at]_as.edu.tw.
