The group of Dr Kruchkov at EPFL, Switzerland, invites applicants for a postdoctoral positions. The intended starting date is Sep 2026. We seek for an excellent and highly motivated candidates with training in quantum matter theory and quantum information science, broadly defined. Experience in topological materials/ topological quantum computation/ quantum geometry/ exposure to tensor network methods or and/or AI/LLM for physics would be a positive addition. 

 For this postdoctoral position, we intend to focus on topological two-dimensional materials, flat bands, and emergent quantum phenomena therein, with special focus on quantum geometry, Fractional Chern insulating phases, and non-abelian anyons.
