Position Description
The project will focus on the development and application of advanced data-analysis techniques for gravitational-wave science, including machine learning and deep learning methods, classical and quantum computing approaches, and global-fit techniques for complex astrophysical signals. Research activities will be carried out jointly between The Instituto de Física Corpuscular (IFIC, Valencia), a joint Universitat de València–CSIC research centre, and the Institute of Space Sciences (ICE-CSIC, Bellaterra, Barcelona), with collaborations involving the Barcelona Supercomputing Center. Candidate profile: We welcome applications from candidates with backgrounds in physics, astrophysics, cosmology, data science, computer science, or related disciplines. Experience in scientific programming, machine learning, statistics, or gravitational-wave physics will be particularly welcome.
