Position Description
Boğaziçi University Institute for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (DSAI) invites applications for multiple tenured or tenure-track faculty positions, with a preference for hiring at the Assistant and Associate Professor levels. We welcome outstanding candidates working in all fields of artificial intelligence. Areas of particular interest include;

Applicants with strong theoretical AI expertise are especially welcome.
Candidates are expected to hold PhD degrees from top-ranked universities, have a strong publication record in first-class international journals and/or leading AI conferences, and demonstrate full dedication to high-impact research, excellence in teaching, graduate supervision, and service to the academic community.

• Cover letter, including contact information;
• Curriculum vitae;
• Research statement, no more than 3 pages, describing past research accomplishments, future research plans, and experiences demonstrating commitment to a diverse and inclusive research environment;
• Teaching and mentoring statement, no more than 3 pages, describing teaching philosophy, previous teaching and mentoring experiences, future teaching plans, and experiences promoting an inclusive learning environment;
• List of two to four references who can provide letters on behalf of the candidate; letters will be requested after the first round of application evaluations;
• Representative publications. Publications in leading journals and AI conferences such as NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, CVPR, ACL, AAAI, EMNLP, NAACL, EACL, IJCAI, KDD, and related venues are considered a strong plus.
Applicants should have an earned doctorate in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a closely related field. Review of applications will begin immediately. Applications received by September 15, 2026 will receive priority attention, and later applications may be considered until the positions are filled.
