Position Description
The experimental high energy physics group at the University of Notre Dame invites applications for a postdoctoral research associate position to work on the CMS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). The successful candidate is expected to play leading roles in physics analyses of the Higgs Boson, as well as installation and commissioning of the High Luminosity LHC upgrade for the Barrel Calorimeter. The position is based at CERN. Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in experimental particle physics. The position is for up to five years. The anticipated start date is September 1 2026, but the exact date is negotiable. Interested candidates should submit a curriculum vitae, a cover letter, a brief research statement, and at least three letters of reference.
